Michy Batshuayi’s future at Chelsea seems to be coming to an end as the Belgian striker was not included in a behind-closed-doors friendly earlier this week against Reading.
Batshuayi has struggled to land a starting spot for The Blues since arriving from Marseille in 2016. He has spent numerous loan spells at Borussia Dortmund, Crystal Palace and Valencia - with more success at those clubs than with Chelsea.
His biggest moment in a Chelsea shirt was when he scored the title winning goal against West Brom back in the 2016-17 season.
Chelsea splashed £32million on the underperforming Belgian striker and are looking to hopefully recoup some of the money this summer.
One of the Belgian's suitors is said to be fellow Premier League club West Ham United, as they have been linked with purchasing the striker this season. Michy has only scored one goal and obtained one assist in sixteen appearances for Chelsea so far this season and it is clear that Frank Lampard wants him out of Stamford Bridge.
Batshuayi’s departure from Stamford Bridge could help Chelsea raise transfer funds for the summer as The Blues look to strengthen their squad with Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell.
