Chelsea cruise by Sheffield United
Chelsea faced Sheffield United on Saturday and what a performance from the Blues it was from start to finish. While Sheffield scored the first goal in the ninth minute they were outplayed as the Chelsea players took charge and controlled the game. Tammy Abraham started off the scoring in the twenty-third minute with a fantastic run of play assisted by Mateo Kovacic. It was just eleven minutes after the Tammy goal that Ben Chilwell finished off a beautiful ball from Hakim Ziyech.
Chelsea have started to look more like a finished team with every game as the link up play in the final third has been phenomenal. However, the biggest improvement of the side has been the defense and the introduction of Thiago Silva as Chelsea's captain. He has been a perfect leader on the pitch helping out Kurt Zouma and Edouard Mendy.
Thiago Silva was the third player to score after Hakim Ziyech whipped in another beautiful cross into the box. Then three minutes later Timo Werner got on the score sheet to finish off an excellent Chelsea performance. If it wasn't for the opening goal from Sheffield it would be considered a 'perfect' performance.
