N'Golo Kante had been training by himself for the last few weeks with the fear of contracting the coronavirus as Premier League teams started the 'Phase 1' return process. Kante had suffered a medical scare a few seasons ago so his caution to train with the group was valid and also supported by the manager.
However, the World Cup Winner was seen participating with the first team in full contact training. Kante joined in as the team took part in a series of different skill activities using various props. The midfielder looked sharp as he took part in a series of rondos before finding the net with a smartly placed shot in a practice game.
It is comforting to see the world class midfielder back in full training with the team as the return of the Premier League looms closer. Kante could be an integral part of the Chelsea side that returns on June 21st against Aston Villa.
